VSc Solutions is excited about its global prospects on the back of a number of significant overseas deals. The latest includes the BOC-Linde Group which has awarded VSc Solutions a global contract to provide technology to assist with the management of its vehicles across its multinational operations.

The global gas giant, which incorporates local subsidiary Afrox, recently announced that “VSc Solutions through its operations in the United Kingdom, South Africa, Asia and South Pacific has been contracted by the BOC-Linde Group to supply and manage a technology solution for transport management and tracking of our multinational operations. To date, VSc Solutions has deployed this solution in six countries and installed over 1,000 vehicles, with safety and cost reduction benefits already achieved”.

“VSc Solutions‘ tracking and route management system has provided us with real-time tools to improve the management of our supply chain operations enabling us to reduce driver incidents, improve customer service delivery and reduce costs. This is currently being rolled out across multiple countries with the aim of creating a single, global standard for our business,” says Martyn Stretch from the BOC-Linde Group‘s UK office.

The company has recently undergone a major rebranding exercise to reposition itself in the local marketplace as a global provider of specialist supply chain technology solutions and consulting services. Further proof of the company‘s recent success is the decision by Transnet to award VSc Solutions a national contract to provide fleet management and tracking technology solutions for its operating fleet of over 5,000 vehicles. Levin comments, “this is one of the largest operating fleets in South Africa and cements ourposition as a sizeable player in the local market”. We are confident that VSc Solutions is well positioned for strong growth not only in South Africa but also in emerging geographies such as Asia-Pacific and Europe.
