Article: VSc wins two Logistics Achiever Awards
The 2008 Logistics Achiever Awards were recently held at the Sandton Convention Centre. The Logistics Achiever Awards is a annual event organised by Logistics News with the aim to recognise excellence in the field of Supply Chain Management.
VSc Solutions submitted two entries this year to recognise our achievements at Anglo Vaal Industries (AVI) and Parmalat.
The Parmalat entry won a Silver award for “outstanding achievement in logistics for designing and implementing an optimised distribution system for dairy products”. The AVI entry picked up our second Silver award in recognition of “outstanding achievement in logistics for re-aligning distribution activities to optimise supply chain functionality”.
